My cold food side keeps freezing everything, we replaced the temperature sensor and the freezer deforst thermostat and the damper seems to be operating ok.
For model number FGUS2642LF2
Hello Alma, thank you for contacting us. Here are a few reasons why your appliance keeps freezing everything:
1. If the thermostat accidentally turned up when loading groceries or moving items out of the refrigerator.
2. Condenser coils are dirty. When these coils get covered in dust or other forms of dirt, it forces the refrigerator to work harder and harder to sustain the optimum temperature.
3. If a gasket has become damaged and is leaking, your refrigerator will be continuously running to compensate, and this will cause everything inside to start to freeze.
We would recommend checking the refrigerator door gasket, part number PS2581497. We hope this solves your problem!

We took the ice out of the ice bin as much as we could
It still didn't do anything. The town had shut the electric off for a few minutes. This had never been a problem before. Do you have any idea what is wrong
Please give us your idea about this
Thanks

Hello and thank you for writing.
We suggest to try a hard reset:
Go to your breaker box and shut the breakers for your unit off, wait 5 minutes and then turn the breaker to on again. That should hopefully clear this problem.
If this does not fix this problem then your dispenser module PS10060200 might have shorted you should check the part(s) for signs of damage or test with a multimeter, and replace the part(s) as needed. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

water leaking out of refrigerator
In my specific appliance the water valve is located in the bottom right hand corner looking at it from the back. To get to it I remove the thin layer of cardboard the covers the back of the fridge. I then proceeded to disconnect the 1/4" copper tubing which is the water feed coming out of the wall. Then I removed the screws that hold the valve assembly in place. I took the water valve out and removed the electrical connections as well as the plastic tubing which feed the water dispenser and the ice maker. To install the new water valve it was just a matter of reversing steps.
