Not dispensing ice, and items in the freezer are defrosting.

Hello Karen, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Defrost Sensor Assembly. It should read on a meter 30KO at 32°F, 24.1KO at 41°F, and 8.9KO at room temperature. We hope this helps!

Freezes In the winter but not in summer..garage refrigerator now
For model number 79571039010

Hi Will, thank you for contacting us. We have found that there are evaporator coils and a circulating fan in the freezer zone of the refrigerator. Poor cooling can be a result of excessive frost development on the evaporating coils. Over time, frost accumulates over the coils and fan. When frost accumulates over the evaporator coils, they get insulated. Due to this, the circulating fan is unable to draw air over the frosted coils. We would recommend checking the frost buildup on the coils and ensuring proper ventilation of the refrigerator. If this is not the issue, you may need to check the evaporator fan motor, part number PS3523323, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

Remove and replace light switch
Video makes it look easy. Kenmore refrigerator does not have "groove" along the right hand side of switch that allows for pushing down on release. Used a thin screwdriver to get under to push while holding switch edge with pliers. Kept slipping. Tape sides to avoid scratching inside of refrigerator.
