Hi Paul,
Thank you for your question. If your dryer will not start, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the door switch, the door catch, the thermal fuse and the motor. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts and some others as well. Once you have determined the part you need, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!
The dryer does not fully dry on preselected cycles or extended time selections, and some lint collects on the inside of the drum with little on the filter. Troubleshooting so far: cleaned vent ductwork, cleaned, and inspected lint filter, removed front panel, thoroughly vacuumed interior with dryer attachment, replaced moisture sensors.
The dryer seems to heat and get hot, though not overheating. I suspect the problem could be that the thermistor is the problem.
I'm a broken down old combat Vet who relies on VA disability, so hiring someone to come out and fix it isn't on the menu.... :-(
Any pointers are greatly appreciated!!!!

Hi John, thank you for the question. Based on our understanding, we would recommend checking the dryer thermistor, part number PS11746740. It attaches on the blower housing, and monitors and helps regulate the temperature inside the dryer. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
After a few years of slamming the dryer door (at least that is what my husband says), the catch on the dryer door broke. Using pliers (I used needle nose) squeeze the outer edges of the catch together (vertically). With it compressed, it should slide out easily. My husband had jacked with ours prior to the repair, so the broken piece in the door was actually sideways and would not fit through the hole. Using a screwdriver, I pushed that piece into the door (it lives in the door somewhere now). I was then able to slide out the rest of the old catch. Compress the new catch and insert it into the hole in the door. Push it in until it clicks into place. DONE! Happy Drying!
I asked for advise, looked around and priced heating elements and thermostats. This was the best combo offered for the price given. It was shipped and received it very quick. Installed it and 5 minutes later, she was running like a champ!
